Why Do They Love It?

Interns working with the education programs expressed how much they enjoyed their work and how it has changed the way they approach life. Read their quotes below:

“I was filled each day with motivation, ideas, and exclamations of how neat this job, this place, is!”

“My experiences at Troy Gardens have affected my plans for this fall season, my career goals, and my heart.”

“The best feature of my internship was the people I worked with.  Everyday I worked with a different, diverse group of individuals.”

“I learned how important community really is and what it takes to have an active one.”

“Interacting with different kids everyday had an effect on me.  I realized that each child learns differently in different environments and needs special attention to be successful.”
